Founded in 1999 by Jessy Dessureault, a pioneer of board sports in Quebec, Universe Boardshop is much more than just a store.

It’s a gathering place for a passionate community that shares the same lifestyle.

Located in Repentigny, on Montreal’s North Shore, our 8000 sq. ft. shop has become a go-to destination for snowboard, skateboard, wakeboard and wakesurf enthusiasts. For over two decades, we’ve supported riders of all levels, from beginners discovering the sport to experienced riders pushing their limits.

Universe also offers a wide selection of clothing and accessories for men, women and kids, inspired by streetwear, surfwear and current trends. Every product is carefully chosen to reflect the energy and authenticity of board sports culture.

But above all, Universe is about community. Since day one, we’ve played an active role in growing the local skateboard and snowboard scene in Repentigny and across the North Shore. We’re involved with youth in schools, support emerging talent and help shape the culture that drives us.

Each year, we organize and take part in key events such as the Mercredis Béton, Plazam and the Universe Challenge. These moments bring people together, fuel progression and keep the community thriving.
